The new garden
Nearly the stone bridge we create our new garden, with view on the oldest and largest vine of Europe; maybe for your festive aperitif or a friendly summer party on the outside of the castle.

 
 

The smoking kitchen
Our old smoking kitchen is a very comfortable an unforgettable room. Now our guests could also enjoy their meal in the old smoking kithcen at the same time they are watching the cook preparing it.

 

"Versoaln"-tasting and guided tour through
the castle

Every Thursday at 4 pm, from20th of March 2008 until the
end of October 2008. Without prenotation, meeting point is the castle door. "Versoaln" is the wine of the biggest and
oldest vine of Europe. ATTENTION: THE GUIDED TOUR WILL NOT TAKE PLACE ON 17TH AND 24TH APRIL 2008:

The package "Gardens and wine"
It contains the visit and the botanic guide in the "Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle" in Merano, a guided tour to the oldest and largest vine of Europe and Castel Katzenzungen. The head of the government of our province Dr. Luis Durnwalder takes his responsibilities as godparent for our oldest and largest vine of Europe.
Of course we did a suitable and substancial celebration on September the 1st 2006.
